Enjoy the sea views from the Lookout (see right). Jolly Sailor Cottage is a 4 bedroom cottage which sleeps up to 6 people. The house is near the East Quay at Wells-next-the sea. It has a South facing garden and private parking for three cars.
The two double bedrooms, one overlooking the garden and the other Jolly Sailor Yard, are very spacious rooms with wardrobe space, decorative fireplaces, TV and DVD. The king-sized bed can be converted to twin beds.
Both single rooms also have views over the garden to the front and one has a superb brick and wood Tudor fireplace original to the house.
There is a family bathroom on the first-floor with a luxurious corner bath, shower attachment and heated towel rails. A further bathroom is on the ground floor with an extra large bath, shower cubicle and a separate toilet.
For more spacious formal eating there is a large elegant dining room.
Our large and spacious lounge has a brick built fireplace which is perfect for a cozy winter evening. From the terrace of the Lookout room (see right) you can enjoy the view over the Norfolk coastline and the salt marshes (shown at the top of the page). The Lookout is accessed using a very steep winding staircase

Pets: We accept pets for a supplement of £20. Having had some previous encounters with inconsiderate pet owners, we do ask that you clear up after your pet - especially for the benefit of the poor gardener who has previously found surprise presents in the garden.
Parking: There are 3 parking spaces private to Jolly Sailors' guests. Additional spaces are available opposite the cottage on a first come first served basis. If you are bringing bikes, these can be brought into the rear courtyard, and secured.
Accessibility: The rooms are spacious with wide doorways and high ceilings. There are 3 steps down from the front door to enter the house; on the ground floor there are 2 more steps to access the kitchen, bathroom and toilet. The main stairs are panelled up to waist height and the top of the panelling on one side can be used for support (although there is not a separate banister). The lookout is accessed via steep twisty stairs and so is not suitable for those guests with restricted mobility. Please contact us for further details and photographs.
